The 'Artisans Fair' is unique to Whangarei.
Taking place outdoors in the Whangarei Central Library Courtyard for it's
Sixth year, the Artisans Fair is a specialist summer attraction, and a
market for Artisans to showcase their fine arts, crafts and skills to our
increasingly cosmopolitan community.
The Central Library Courtyard comes alive with activity during an Artisans
Fair. Buskers, creative activities such as painting and candle-dipping
are
part of the event, as well as a wide range of quality hand crafted products
available for sale to the public. Product range varies from season to
season, market to market and may include, paintings, prints, hats,
leadlight, sculpture, folk-art, giftware, jewellery, flax weaving, knitwear,
candles, beauty products and soaps, garden art, photography, garden
furniture - and much more! Fresh coffee, wood-fired oven baked
pizzas and
